NO! The common types of herpes don’t kill you but they can cause you some pain and discomfort. There is one type that can kill you that is Herpes Encephalitis which is NOT common to have.

There is NO cure for both types of herpes. Once you have any type of herpes you will have it for life. There is no immunity to getting herpes unless you all ready have one type of it then you are less likely to get that type again where you all ready have it. Having herpes does not increase your risk of getting cancer, that is from your family history if there is cancer in it. Having herpes can put you at a greater risk for getting HIV since there are open sores or blisters which that virus can get through.
